Richard Murphy is a United States ambassador, and has srved in Mauritania, Syria, the Philippines, and Saudi Arabia. Eyal Zisser is a professor at Tel Aviv University's Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies. This program is based around interviews Leon Charney conducted with Richard Murphy which aired on February 24, 2008 and July 6, 2008. They’ve been combined with updated interviews with Murphy from the Summer of 2013 as well as new interviews with Eyal Zisser this past Summer.
